With many thanks to Peter Crumlin, a number of 1925ers had the pleasure of trying to play golf at Manly on 23 July 2009.The Manly Golf Club course is about to undergo an extensive renovation that, it is said, will result in it being a totally different course. So this was an opportunity to play on the old format for the last time. And a great day it was!
A Stableford event was played, and it could be fairly said that the team of Crum, Roy & TC thrashed Nev, Clarkie & Lep. Scores could be revealed, but then you would have to be killed.
